Earlier this year, Rose Pest Solutions participated as a sponsor in the 16th Annual d’Vine Affair hosted by the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago at the Union League Club of Chicago. The d’Vine Affair is “Chicago’s Premier Wine Tasting Event and has raised nearly $1.5 million to support the Self-Sufficiency Programs in Lake and Cook counties.”
Those programs provide assistance to both families and individuals in an effort to help break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. In other words, we all gather together for silent auctions, wine tastings, craft beer samplings and camaraderie in an effort to influence positive change in our local neighborhoods and the world as a whole. We’re so involved in the event and the good it fosters that one of our Chicago branch Account Managers helps organize the d’Vine charity event every year because of the positive effects it has on the community as a whole.
Not only that, but some of the vintners in Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana that participated in the event are Rose Pest Solutions Commercial Pest Control customers that rely on our services year after year for everything from termites to mosquitoes. As a small business we’re excited to be part of the process, but the most important part to us is the fact that we’re able to help other small businesses from churches and and food manufacturing facilities to restaurants and everything in between generate positive change in the world through partnerships with the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago!
